Tony is happy to be working at Elmwood again this year (previous shows: The Bridges of Madison County and Next to Normal). Other recent favorite shows that Tony has music directed around the NY/NJ/CT area are West Side Story, Sweet Charity, Ragtime, Jesus Christ, Superstar, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Later this season he’ll be over the bridge at Curtain Call in Stamford for a production of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, and closes the season with another collaboration with Larry Gabbard (his wonderfully talented husband and Director!) – Big River! Tony has served as repetiteur for the Skylight Opera Theater and the Florentine Opera, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has worked as a company pianist for the Milwaukee Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. By day, he is the Director of Operations for global appraisal and advisory firm, Gurr Johns, Inc.
