Bea attended high school in New York City where she trained at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre on 14th Street and Union Square. She is now a resident of Nyack for the past 19 years. She has performed in the annual Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Wisdom of Eve and The Vagina Monologues at the Nyack Village Theatre, and also wrote, directed and performed in her own work, Time Immemorial – An African American Experience. Bea has performed in several plays at the Antrim Playhouse including Boeing, Boeing, The Man Who Came to Dinner, and recently, Every Christmas Story Ever Told and Then Some, which was quite a challenge for her. She is a board member of the Rivertown Film Society in Nyack.
