Steve Taylor spent ten years performing in New York City and throughout the Northeast, then transitioned into a 28-year career in the Information Technology Department at the international law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP. He has a degree in Theatre from West Virginia University and still does shows now and then, at Elmwood and elsewhere in Rockland and Westchester Counties and southern Connecticut. In addition to his participation at Elmwood, he has been a deacon, elder, choir member and active volunteer at the Hitchcock Presbyterian Church in Scarsdale, where he chaired several committees including the Pastor Nominating Committee in 2007. He served for four years on the Elmwood Play Selection Committee, and is a judge for the playwriting contest sponsored by the American Association of Community Theatres (AACT). Steve joined the Elmwood Board of Directors in 2014 and became the board president in 2016.
