Scott Nangle came to Elmwood more than twenty years ago to play Richard Roma in David Mamet’s searing Glengary Glen Ross, and since then has appeared in roles large and small in more than a dozen plays and workshops. He has served as an assistant director, directed a workshop and has provided photography and graphics for many productions.
Scott holds a B.F.A. degree from the Theatre Division of College of Fine Arts at Boston University and has performed with the Long Wharf Theatre (The Lion in Winter), with The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, with John Houseman’s Acting Company (in too many plays to list here), and in more Off-Off Broadway showcases and dinner theaters than he’d care to admit.
He also holds a certification in Database Design and Development from Columbia University, has worked as a photographer, designer and manager in print and on the web. He is a past president of The Leahey Foundation which supports research primarily in the field of cardiology, and a former officer of our local Boy Scout Troop 97.
He currently operates a photography and graphics studio. This is his second term as a member of Elmwood’s Board of Directors.
