Champagne Reception – In the Kitchen

Many know that there was a Gala held in honor of 70 years of Elmwood history. Both Kandi Rosenbaum and I volunteered to help with the champagne reception which turned out to be a lot of fun, lots of work, and great experience. Kandi was assigned to handle the bar area and offer champagne to the patrons. Myself, was assigned in the kitchen and had the time of my life working alongside a true professional chef assisting in prepping the party platters that the servers brought out to the guests. I was amazed at the menu and variety of tasty delights! A great thank you to Jim Guarasci for his wonderful guidance at the helm of this delightful gala ~ and to Edward Van Saders for the welcome use of his awesome kitchen (and glorious house!)
