Melinda Pinto

is delighted to be making her directorial debut at Elmwood Playhouse. Previous directorial credits include Barefoot in the Park, Doubt, Dial M for Murder and The Miracle Worker at Antrim. Other directing credits include The Odd Couple, Rumors and the award winning Breaking Up is Hard to Do. As a principal at Brown-Pinto Productions, Melinda was Associate Producer of Martin Short – Fame Becomes Me, and part of the producing team for Broadway’s All Shook Up. Melinda has a MFA from Trinity Rep and teaches acting in the New York area. She would like to thank her multi-talented cast who made it a pleasure to come to rehearsal, and the dedicated production staff that help make the magic happen. Special thanks to Omar, Larry and Penny for achieving the impossible.  Melinda wishes to thank Lauren Widner for her insightful thoughts, perspective and experience.
