Crawford Deyo

Crawford’s first experience at Elmwood was for Last of the Red Hot Lovers in the role of the Master Carpenter assistant. After the set crew turned a bare stage into a realistic New York apartment in four weeks, he was hooked on set construction and the warm, friendly atmosphere at the playhouse. He served in that same role on Much Ado About Nothin’ and A Soldier’s Play. Crawford was the technical director of The Secret Garden, Private Eyes, Living Out, Spring Awakening, The Exonerated, Squabbles, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Amadeus, Les Misérables, Pillowman, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, The Goat, Good People, and Boeing Boeing, and assisted in creating the set for The Other Place.
